Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the new normal. As many of you know, dental practices have been permitted by the Illinois Department of Health to return to routine dental care and expand beyond dental emergencies. Goers Dental Care will be re-opening to attend to our patients with the utmost standard of patient care that we had in the past while following ADA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines to the best of our ability.
We at Goers Dental Care have been closely monitoring and educating ourselves about the COVID-19 pandemic throughout, and have been discussing routines and other safety protocols to keep you, our staff, and our community safe once we re-open our doors. To keep everyone safe and to abide by social distancing guidelines, Goers Dental Care will be seeing fewer patients in our office at once and will be utilizing longer appointment times to accommodate for extra cleaning pre- and post-visit. Update March 27, 2020
During these unprecedented times we wanted to keep you informed about things happening around the office. We are staying informed with the latest updates and recommendations with respect to treating our patients.
To that end, the office will continue to be available for any dental emergencies that may arise. Following ISDS and ADA recommendations we are currently rescheduling patients for April 13th and after. We will continue to evaluate the situation and update you as information becomes available.
We have team members in the office Monday through Thursday from 9 a. m. – 1 p.m. We know many people have utilized this “stay at home” time to tackle various home cleaning and organization projects.
We at Goers Dental Care have done the same, and the office is looking better than ever! We continue to keep you, your families, our community, our country, and our world in our thoughts and prayers.
Update March 16, 2020
Our practice puts the health and safety of our patients and staff as our top priority. Due to the news surrounding the Coronavirus and the fact that it has been changing by the minute, we have made the difficult decision that, effective immediately, we will be temporarily closing until April 1, 2020.
We will continually evaluate and closely monitor the situation as it unfolds and will be sending an updated communication if we anticipate being closed beyond April 1st. We value all of your patience during these difficult times and encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy as directed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Dental Association, and the Illinois State Dental Society.
If you do have a dental emergency, please do not hesitate to call 630-789-0900 and follow the instructions, as there will always be a doctor on call.

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about the Coronavirus infection in public places, even at our state-of-the-art, sterilized office.
At Goers Dental Care, we want to assure you that our office has even further heightened our already extremely rigid sterilization safeguard standards to virtually eliminate the possibility of disease transmission to our valued patients and our outstanding team.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, public health officials urge the general public to take the same precautions as during flu season — with renewed vigilance:
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Cover your cough or sneeze
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Clean often touched surfaces frequently
- Maintain social distance (6 feet) between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing
- Avoid visiting long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, especially if you’re sick
- Stay home if you do not feel well
- Plan a safe visit to the doctor if you experience any symptoms
